The new normal involves a lot of cross training! Here’s a look at life lately.
Monday:
I started the day with a Nespresso Soy Misto…
and Physical Therapy at Pro Motion. ASTYM and taping are really helping my Achilles.
Gym, Stationary Bike, and PiYO Hardcore on the Floor
For dinner we had this Roasted Cauliflower and Mushroom Quinoa…yum!
Tuesday:
Track with my friends! I’m still not doing any speed work, but I did log a bunch of miles running in circles:)
I tuck the Hot Hands into my gloves.
Aren’t my orchids so pretty right now?!
Picked up some more of my favorite lip gloss. I go through this stuff like crazy.
Wednesday:
Crepe and coffee breakfast with Jason…and these woodland creatures:)
20 miles on the stationary bike…such a tough workout!
And, because I’m lifting a lot more…I finally bought some gloves.
I think it’s safe to say that I LOVE Mache Rosettes!
I received a Boston email…the perfect reminder of why I’m resting and letting my body heal!!!
And, for dinner I made a Roasted Vegetable Zoodle Stir-fry. I’ll post the recipe shortly and you MUST make it. Seriously…it’s SOOOO good and it’s healthy!!!
Oh…and I got this pic of Country Music Marathon Training Run! If you’re in the Nashville area, there’s still time to sign up for the training program. I’m so excited to run with this group:)
I hope you have a great day!!
Have you tried Zoodles yet? (Zucchini Noodles)
Do you have a favorite type of lettuce or am I the only weirdo?!
Do you have a go-to, daily lip gloss or lipstick? Share!
#choosejoy

Loving all of your recipes! I tried out the Blueberry Chobani Coffee Cake over the weekend and it was absolutely delicious! No favorite lettuce for this lady but I do have a few go to Lipsticks instead of glosses. Revlon Fire & Ice- one of my faves…Smashbox Grenadine & Smashbox Rose Gold gloss:) Happy Thursday!

Jen, I was just going to send you a message today and say thanks for introducing me to Sexy Mother Pucker (in one of your older posts); I bought some last month at Sephora, while doing some Christmas shopping, and it’s the one I reach for most often now. Thank you! I would probably have never tried it. I’m glad to hear that you are working on some other things while your Achilles has some time to heal; you’re going to do great in Boston. I have a spiralizer and have NOT used it yet…can you believe it? I’ve got to do it; maybe your recipe will be just the thing that spurs me into action. 😉 Hope you have a great day!

I love the Soap and Glory body cream – it seems so great! My favorite lip gloss is the Sephora lip gloss, it’s smooth and shiny and not sticky 🙂 I’ve never tried zoodles and am excited to see your recipe!

I am going to need you to post that zoodle stir fry recipe asap! It looks so yummy. The hubby and I are huge fans of pasta/rice alternatives. I haven’t run the RnR Music City Marathon yet, even though I was raised in Tennessee. My sister will be coaching my mother for the half marathon this year and it will be her first race. We will all be running it together. I am already saying my prayers for no rain and running as many hills as possible 🙂

We are in the same boat with biking! Yesterday I got to 17 miles – haven’t reached 20 yet, but I think maybe because I am not doing all hills to give my knee a break.
Anyway, great work!!
I love Stila lipgloss – its my go-to 🙂
Everyone has been talking about Piyo – I need to try it! Is it high impact?
LOVE your orchids!!
I love organic red leaf lettuce – oh, and butter lettuce also.
Haven’t tried zoodles – sounds delicious 🙂
Have a great day!

I like piyo because its low impact. With all of the running I do, its nice to find a cross training workout thats easy on my joints:)

In the winter I have such a hard time eating salads because I prefer having a hot soup, but in the summer I like baby spinach & baby kale mixed, and also good ol’ romaine.
